The broken link to Martin Luther King's "I have a dream" speech, has been repaired.

November 14, 2004

Omitted parts from McCulloch v. Maryland were added.
The old guestbook does not function anymore, since the server change. A new and better guestbook with filters on verbal abuse will be installed.

Added some early colonial documents and added images and links to the first chapter of the 1994 Outline of American History

October 2004

The Outline of American Government was updated and corrected. New images and new links were added.
Changes were made to the stylesheet to improve the legiability of the pages.

September 2004

After a long period of problems with the server it finally crashed completely. The whole project has been moved to a new machine with the same symbolic name. We are using a new kind of server now and this will have some implications for the functioning of the project. If you use this project often for educational purposes we advise you to make bookmarks of the two mirror-versions of the project:

Keeping the mirror-versions completely up-to-date has a low priority for us, so it may be possible that some of the more recent parts of the project have not yet been added.
