If the option -vcg is used, a representation compatible with the VCG 1.30
graph-visualization program is written to standard output, on the
basis of the finite-state automaton read in from standard input.
For example, if the file fig19.tnd consists of the transducer given in
figure 19 of Roche and Schabes (), then the
following pipe produces the illustration given in figure 1.

The FSA Utilities program supports output for
two external graph visualization programs. This figure illustrates the use of
VCG. This example is the determinized version of an example given by
Roche and Schabes (their figure 19).
