From a syntactic point of view there appear to be two types of swearwords, the shit-type and the verdomme-type. The latter is characterized by the fact that it can be inserted within sentences.

We intend to discuss:

1. restrictions on sentence types
2. possible positions of the swearword
3. the categorization of the swearword: interjection, particle, evaluating constituent?
